Editorial comment

A monthly increase, not a broad recovery

November's month-on-month increase did not reverse the broader 12-month picture. Google Analytics total sessions, active users and page views remained below their respective medians for the preceding 11 months. In the same record, Organic Search fell to a 12-month low while Direct and Organic Social reached 12-month highs.

That split rules out interpreting the increase as a recovery in search traffic. In Google Analytics source data, t.co and LinkedIn each reached their own 12-month high. Two older Turkish URL variants accounted for roughly three quarters of the increase in the landing-page query. November was the first month in which either appeared in the available 12-month Google Analytics record.

The dataset does not link traffic sources and landing pages in a single query. The content inventory also does not contain verified dates for when those pages first went live. I therefore cannot connect those distribution sources to specific pages or treat the increase as an effect of publication.

There is also a measurement warning in the monthly record. Sessions with source/medium recorded as (not set) and classified as Unassigned rose well above the range of the preceding 11 months. Most of these sessions came from the Singapore cluster, which recorded very few page views. The evidence does not support classifying this traffic as either bots or people.

The split between Türkiye and elsewhere observed in October did not repeat in November. Both groups grew. I therefore treat the earlier geographic observation as a one-month shift in distribution.

There is no Google Search Console data for this period. I cannot draw conclusions about changes in search visibility, rankings, click-through rate or queries. I will recheck the concentration in distribution and the measurement warning once the next month has closed.
