I have already published a brief about section, but I have much to say about my development history, motives and expectations that I don’t want to make public in that page. Actually, this one is also a public, but not listed directly in header section. So you are one of the special people that got the direct link. π
You may want to download my resume first to get the standard/quantitative information, and continue to read the qualitative information below.
More about my experience / development background.
I am developing with love for more than 20 years, but never employed in a tech position directly. I have also worked on non-tech related jobs in the past, but trying to recover all my skills back for the last 2-3 years, this is when I started freelancing again. My (development) experience is mostly from freelancing and countless side-projects failed somehow. π
Although, this may be true, it doesn’t mean that I am unaware from all of these topics. In contrast, I love to work/experiment on all of these, use them for my side-projects and/or playground/learning projects.
I did not build a commercial REST-API, but thousands of visitors is reading my REST-API series on my blog every month (Unfortunately they are in Turkish, but planning to translate them to English as well). I just renewed this website’s frontend to Next.js (React) from my old Nuxt.js (Vue) layout. Correspondingly, I am looking for a side-project idea nowadays that I can advance my GoLang skills. Briefly, I am more than open to learn and experiment new stacks.
As seen above, I am not dependent to a single programming language and prefer to being a polyglot programmer. Although this is an advantage most of the time, it may result forgetting the syntax and I need some warmup before switching to that language again.
What I expect is a position that I can use any of my strong skills, but better than that, a position that I can sharpen my weak skills or learn completely new ones from scratch. I mean, I am ready to new learning challenges like GoLang, Swelte, Gatsby etc. etc.
When I started, I didn’t think I would write this long, so thank you for reading so far π
